Building OD Capacity and Capability

Workforce Scotland is currently focusing on the following areas to help build OD capacity and capability across Scottish public services:

Facilitation Network

Experienced organisational development practitioners from a number of public service organisations are being brought together to support and facilitate the learning journeys of the pioneer sites of the Enabling Collaborative Leadership Pioneer Programme. The facilitators network have regular meetings to discuss the learning needs of the pioneer sites, share creative practice,  and identify additional development and support to enable the network to be as effective as possible.

As the reach of Enabling Collaborative Leadership grows, additional facilitators with capacity to join the network and support the programme will be needed. If you are interested in finding out more about the Facilitation Network, please register your interest here.

OD Community of Practice for Health and Social Care Integration

This Community of Practice is for OD practitioners and learning and developments leads across NHS Boards, Local Authorities or Third Sector organisations who are involved in supporting the development of Health and Social Care Partnerships. The HSCI OD COP is facilitated by NHS Education for Scotland and SSSC as part of the wider work OD Capacity work of Workforce Scotland. The Community holds regular Open Space events for members to come and share their experience around implementing and supporting integration.

There is also a group on the Knowledge Hub for community members to share their local integration plans.
